Beaver Green Primary School has a vacancy for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Yr R SEN pupil. The position will involve a wide range of duties. The role will have many opportunities to show initiative.

Education and Experience

  •  Hold relevant qualification at Level 3 minimum
  •  Demonstrates numeracy and literacy skills to GCSE (A-C) or L2 equivalent
  •  Have experience of working with SEN Children

 

Specific roles:

  • To provide 1:1 support for a Yr R child with SEN Needs
  • To support the teaching and learning of pupils to ensure continuity and good progress
  • Successful relevant experience of working with children of relevant age within a learning environment
  • Be able to support in the delivery of high quality learning experiences for all pupils and specifically for children with SEN needs

Beaver Green is a two form entry school in Ashford with a maintained nursery.

The school is sited in a new build with a number of outreach rooms alongside extensive playing fields and play areas.

The school works in partnership with other primaries within the Swale Academies Trust to ensure best practices are in place.
