4 Elms Primary School is a small, supportive rural school full of delightful children and great staff. We seek a Bursar /finance officer to manage the school’s finances and budgets. He/She will be responsible for administering financial systems and procedures and contribute towards ensuring all systems are effective and efficient in line with Schools Financial Procedures. The post is part time, one day each week working times to be negotiated.

Experience of School Management Information Systems (CMIS/SIMS) and knowledge of schools financial procedures are desirable. Excellent ICT skills and previous experience in a financial environment are essential in this role. 

The successful person will be an experienced, reliable and enthusiastic professional. They will have the ability to work comfortably within an educational setting and be committed to enhancing our ethos and values as we move towards being an outstanding provider. 

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.

Four Elms is a small village primary school located in the lovely village of Four Elms. The School has four classes, Reception are taught in Class 1 following the EYFS Curriculum. Years one and two are taught together in Class 2, Years three and four in Class 3 and Years 5 and 6 in Class 4.
