Wrotham Road Primary School are looking for a part time administrative assistant to provide administrative and financial functions for the school and take a proactive role in relation to its day to day functioning. Applicants should have excellent communication and computer skills and be able to work under pressure in a busy, friendly primary school. They should demonstrate good interpersonal skills when dealing with pupils, staff and parents. Duties will include using an electronic management system (SIMS), data input, typing of general correspondence, reports etc. reception duties and financial tasks. Applicants must have GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or above) or the equivalent and good ICT skills. The successful applicant will be well organised, flexible, friendly and have excellent interpersonal attributes.

Hours- 25 hours per week, 9am-2pm Monday - Friday. Term time only plus Inset days. 

Salary will be KR4, full time range is £16,968 - £17,826, depending on experience and skills. The salary is paid pro rata to the 25 part time hours and divided into 12 equal amounts. It takes into account holiday entitlements. Annual leave is expected to be taken during school holidays.

Post is subject to receipt of satisfactory references, police check and health check. Also subject to satisfactory completion of six month probationary period.
