Manager of ARC Provision

Hours:                         Full time

Location:                     Thanet Skills Studio, Margate, Kent

Salary:                        Competitive Salary (dependent on experience)

                                   

This is an amazing opportunity for the successful individual to launch and manage the alternative provision at our Thanet Skills Studio site. The successful candidate will be able to bring their own ideas, experience and enthusiasm in creating a provision for students who find it difficult to integrate into mainstream secondary school.

 

The successful candidate will be required to oversee a team of like-minded people who will be able to empower students and re-engage them back into education. The candidate will be required to manage the centre on a daily basis which will include overseeing the timetable and allocation of resources, including staff to facilitate service delivery.

 

We are seeking an individual who has:

  • Experience of departmental leadership or similar
  • Experience of working effectively to empower young people, especially disaffected and disengaged young people.
  • Management skills, including managing staff and budgets
  • The ability to communicate effectively with people from a wide range of ages, abilities and backgrounds
  • Experience of working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders in an educational setting
