Egerton Church of England Primary School is a good school with a dedicated team of Teaching Assistants who make a real difference to our children's learning and welfare on a daily basis.

We have a vacancy for a caring, creative and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team.

The role will start in September 2017 and is full-time from 8.30am- 3.30pm, five days a week term time only. You will be a class-based teaching assistant in Key Stage 2, and will work under the direction of the class teacher.  The post will also include a period of supervision at break and lunchtime.

Although relevant experience and qualifications are welcomed, we are more interested in finding the best person to complete our team.

Our School and all its personnel are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children. This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Salary £ 15,253 - £16,967 (pro rata)

The post is initially temporary until 31st August 2018.

Set in the Kent countryside, between Ashford and Lenham, Egerton Church of England Primary School is a one form entry primary school with 180 children on roll. Naturally the children are our greatest asset and the school plays a central part in the village community.

We are a voluntary controlled Church of England school, committed to providing the highest quality education for all pupils in an atmosphere where our Christian faith is evident in all we teach and do together.
