We are looking for a Teaching Assistant with experience. You will need good skills in English and Maths -at least grade C GCSE -and will have knowledge of phonics. Experience of working with children with special educational needs would also be helpful. You will be joining a friendly and dedicated team who are committed to providing every child with the support and opportunities they need to progress in their learning. You will have the ability to effectively support the teacher with moving pupils onto their next steps. You will need patience, an encouraging and positive outlook and a 'can do' attitude. You will need to be able to use your initiative and skills to adapt learning to help children 'get unstuck' and gain mastery of basic skills in reading, writing and maths. A passion for learning and a good sense of humour would also be most welcome.
