What we need….

We need an experienced and enthusiastic teacher to join our Primary Department. Our youngest learners require a dynamic and creative approach to access the curriculum. All our pupils have Education and Health Care Plans and require patient and consistent support. We have high expectations of pupil progress and are committed to offering creative and engaging approaches to secure accelerated progress.

We cater for primary and secondary pupils with social, emotional, behavioural and associated learning needs. We have a strong, forward-thinking staff team and have a wonderful building with purpose built specialist classrooms. We have a supportive Governing Body.

Information about the school

The Orchard School caters for primary and secondary aged pupils with social, emotional, mental health difficulties and associated learning difficulties. Recently judged Good by Ofsted, the PAN is 93. Our catchment covers East Kent although pupils also attend from outside the area.
