Turner Schools is looking to appoint an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support children with ASD in our special provision unit at Martello Primary. We need someone who is dedicated, enthusiastic, patient and caring, to help our children enjoy, learn and achieve success.

The full time position would be for 35 hours across 5 days, term time only + inset days.

The successful candidate should:

  • Have HEART
  • Have a passion for teaching and be successful in demonstrating highly effective KS1 and KS2 classroom practice.
  • Strive for academic brilliance and be confident to cover classes.
  • Enjoy working as a team.
  • Offer enthusiasm and energy to the role.
  • Have a high level of literacy and numeracy.
  • Ideally have experience with Read Write Inc and Numicon, but not essential as training will be provided if you are new to these programmes.
