1:1 SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT REQUIRED ASAP

We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who is a motivated and enthusiastic professional. Mereworth Community Primary School has a friendly and supportive staff ready to welcome you to our school team.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant that will be able to work with a child with special educational needs on a one to one basis. This child requires a Teaching Assistant who will be able to offer consistent and reliable support. The successful candidate must have experience of working with children with Social & Emotional Behavioural needs. The Year 5 pupil is cognitively and academically able, but lacks self-confidence. This creates some anxiety, which can result in challenging behaviour.

Mereworth Community Primary School is a popular village school situated between Maidstone and Tonbridge. We are a vibrant, single form entry school situated in wonderful grounds which are used extensively to enhance the delivery of the curriculum. The school building is a mixture of Victorian, 1960’s and modern rooms. We have indoor learning zones which includes a library, a music room, computer room and a Design & Technology room.
