We are looking to recruit a Caretaker to join our small friendly team of staff.

You will report to the School Business Manager and be responsible for improvements, repairs, cleaning of designated areas (in conjunction with contract cleaners), and maintenance of the school building.

Ideally the successful candidate will have relevant experience as a Caretaker, however full training will be provided. The candiate will need to be able to develop good working relationships with staff at all levels.

You must be flexible and adaptable to the needs of the job and show capacity for hard work to meet competing deadlines accurately and with attention to detail.

We are an oversubscribed one form entry primary school in Larkfield, Aylesford catering for pupils from Reception to Year 6. The school has recently been fully refurbished and has seven classrooms, a brand new computer suite, a library at the centre of the school, a Design and Technology/ music room and a spacious hall. We are fortunate to have an extensive playing field which is used for PE and games as well as a woodland crafts area for Forest School and outdoor learning.

The school has a reputation for high attainment and we are justly proud of this. We have a commitment to high academic standards whilst maintaining a rounded view of education where the needs of all learners are catered for.
