Learning Support Assistant (Autism Resource Centre)

 

We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant with knowledge and experience in  Autstic Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

 

We are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to work with our students in the Autism Resource Centre (ARC), a specialist provision for students on the autistic spectrum.  The aim of the centre is to support students so that they may achieve their academic potential within a mainstream setting.  Emphasis is placed on the appropriate personalised strategies and interventions for each student, which will enable them to successfully manage their social and emotional development.

 

Applicants will need to integrate within our small and friendly team.  Applicants will also need excellent communication skills to develop a good relationship with students and staff across the Academy.

 

Employment Type: Part-time, 37  hours per week (working 8am – 4, Monday – Thursday  and 8am – 3.30pm on a Friday. Term Time Only  plus INSET days

Salary: 

SAA Band 3 pt 7 – 11 £13,584 - £14,607 (FTE £15,864 - £17,058)**

** Woodard Academies Trust are committed to the Accredited Living Wage and therefore this salary is enhanced to £8.45 per hour.
