Advert

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our friendly lunchtime team. You will be responsible for monitoring a class of children at lunchtimes. The times of work will be 12.00pm to 1.00pm Monday to Friday during term time.

Being responsible for young children for 1 hours in the middle of the day is a very important and rewarding job. The main aims of the role are to play games with the children in the playground and supervise them eating lunch in the dining hall. You will also assist the children with reading and writing activities in the classroom after lunch for half an hour.

A First Aid qualification would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given. Similarly training is available to learn a repertoire of lunchtime games. Good Literacy skills are necessary along with a good rapport with children. Previous school experience is an advantage.
