Required immediately - Monday to Friday, term time only (38 weeks of the year)

The post is for 12.5 hours per week - 3.30 p.m. - 6.00 p.m.

Remuneration will be on Kent Range 2 pro rata to actual hours.

We are looking to appoint a Cleaner to join our Premises Team here at Riverview Junior School as soon as possible.  Previous cleaning experience would be an advantage as would any related qualifications and training in the use and storage of cleaning materials and liquids.  Duties will include general cleaning of classrooms, corridors and cloakrooms.

The successful candidate will possess a good level of cleaning abilities, with attention to detail, and a flexible approach with a hardworking attitude.

Information about the school

Riverview Junior School is a very popular four form entry Key Stage 2 school on a large site we share with the Infant School.

Our extensive site offers lots of opportunities for outdoor learning, including an outdoor library, two football pitches, MUGA, outdoor intervention area, animal farm and forest school, and we offer large well-resourced classrooms.

We are delighted to announce that our recent Ofsted inspection, carried out in February 2022, graded the school’s overall effectiveness as ‘Good’ with ‘Behaviour Attitudes’, ‘Personal Development and Leadership Management’ all being graded as Outstanding;.
