We are seeking to appoint a dynamic Deputy Headteacher to join our amazing team for September.

The successful candidate will have a crucial role as Deputy Head whilst being an inspirational and outstanding practitioner from whom others can learn. One of your main areas of responsibility will be as SENCo and although you will not have a class responsibility, you will have a teaching commitment. We will ensure that your leadership skills are nurtured and grown in your role as our Deputy Headteacher as we believe strongly in developing all members of our team through CPD. We work closely with other schools in the Tenterden Rural Alliance and other partnerships, so the ability to collaborate with others needs to be incredibly important to you.

Woodchurch Church of England Primary School has 165 children on roll and is situated in the heart of the Kent countryside in the village of Woodchurch, 6 miles from Ashford and 4 miles from Tenterden. We are a school at the heart of the community, that puts children at the heart of everything we do. Our site consists of a mixture of Victorian and modern buildings.

Woodchurch CE Primary School plays a central role within a close-knit village community. We enjoy a well-established relationship with the wider parish. We are proud of our inclusive, Christian ethos and benefit from strong, mutually supportive links with the local community, church and parents.
