As a highly successful community school and sports college, recognised as ‘Good’ by Ofsted and featured in the 2015 Parliamentary Review for Secondary Education, Herne Bay High School is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic teacher of Technology to join our team in September 2017.

The Technology department at Herne Bay High School is committed to providing the maximum opportunity for the students to gain skills and knowledge in every aspect of Technology afforded by this well resourced area of the curriculum.

Herne Bay High School is a large hugely successful Single Academy Trust that serves the Herne Bay coastal area of North Kent. We have a comprehensive intake and are significantly oversubscribed in all year groups and in June 2022 Ofsted rated the school good with an Outstanding 6th form provision. Whilst academic rigour and examination success is at the forefront of our development, we passionately believe that a broad, balanced approach to education is important and as such we place great emphasis on the Creative and Performing Arts, Technology, and Sport as a key part of a young person’s early educational journey.
