Advert

We are looking for a motivated, energetic KS2 teacher to join the Charing team. Do you have a sense of humour? Are you flexible and adaptable? Can you rise to a challenge? Do you have a positive outlook and a ‘can do’ approach? Do you want to make a difference?

Would you like to join a school rated 'Good' by Ofsted in March 2017 as we continue on our improvement journey?

Charing Church of England Primary School is seeking a teacher with a commitment to high standards of attainment and behaviour for all pupils. We provide opportunities to work and learn with colleagues in a diverse group of schools through our collaboration with local schools.  We are about to embark on the next exciting phase of the school's development by becoming part of the Aquila Academy Trust.

If you would like to join us on our journey, we would love to meet you.  Please contact Pip Tanton in the school office to arrange a time to visit our lovely village school.

Information about the school

We are hugely proud of our school set in the beautiful village of Charing in Kent. Our school has a wonderful family feel. We know our children and families well, offer supportive relationships as well as nurturing and developing young learners to be confident and believe in themselves.

Charing has a well-established Christian ethos and our whole school community is committed to developing values which will enable pupils to become curious, passionate, life long learners. This extends to the support we offer our staffing team to ensure everyone is able to work in happy, safe and supportive surroundings.

We work with our extended community to build links with the village and maximise opportunities for children to experience culture, nature and the world around them.

We are a member of Aquila, The Diocese of Canterbury Academies Trust (www.aquilatrust.co.uk).

Charing Church of England Primary School is committed to safeguarding children and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all trustees, staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All successful candidates will be subject to an Enhanced Criminal Record Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service along with other relevant employment checks, online recruitment checks and overseas criminal background checks, where applicable. All new trustees, employees and volunteers will be required to undertake safeguarding training on induction which will be regularly updated in line with statutory guidance.

Every member of our extended school community is valued as an individual and we would warmly welcome you to visit our school, meet the team and see for yourself what makes us special. Charing CEP School is a great place to work!

Please be aware that references will be taken up prior to short listing. We reserve the right to interview before the closing date.
