Breakfast and Afterschool Club Supervisor

To be responsible for the day to day organisation of our Breakfast and After School Club ensuring its continune smooth and effective running.  To enable the children attending the clubs to enjoy a healthy start to the day and an exciting and rewarding playtime. 

Provide a healthy breakfast and tea to the children 

Provide engaging activities for children attending the After School Club should they wish to take part

Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, food hygiene, health and safety but also be fully aware of safeguarding

To actively support the children's social development, through appropriate activities and to provide support for other staff in these activities.

Information about the school

St Margaret Clitherow is a Catholic primary school with 403 pupils on roll. It is situated on the northern edge of Tonbridge. The catchment area consists of Tonbridge, Southborough, Hidenborough, Paddock Wood and surrounding villages. In August 2014 it became an academy as part of the Kent Catholic Schools Partnership - a multi academy trust. From September 2018 the school has entered into a shared leadership model with St Margaret Clitherow, St Augustine's, Tunbridge Wells, St Thomas', Sevenoaks and the KCSP Teaching School Alliance. Katharine Sexton is the Executive Principal and Fiona Oubridge the Academy Principal. There are 14 class bases - 2 in Early Years, 4 in KS1 (2 in Year 1 and 2 in Year 2), LKS2 (2 in Year 3 and 2 in Year 4) and UKS2 (2 in Year 5 and 2 in Year 6) as well as a school hall, Gallery, library and sanctuary area. Children in the Foundation Stage are taught in small groups by members of the Early Years Team, in KS1 and KS2 children are taught in year groups for all subjects. There is an extra part time teacher in each phase group in the mornings.
