TEMPORARY SCHOOL RECEPTIONIST (KR3 – Pro-rata £15,253)

We are currently looking to recruit a full-time temporary receptionist, working term-time only, to start as soon as possible with an ending date of 21st July 2017.  The successful applicant will be expected to work from 8am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and 3.30pm on a Friday (with a 30-minute lunch break each day).

We are seeking a receptionist to be the first point of contact for all visitors.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, and the flexibility to react to a busy and varied workload, whilst maintaining a calm and professional demeanour. Candidates must be able to prioritise their work in a pressured environment. The ability to relate well to children and adults is essential.

Ideally, candidates should have a good basic knowledge of IT and keyboard skills, with working knowledge of Word and Excel. A knowledge of SIMS will be a distinct advantage.

Simon Langton Girls’ Grammar School is a highly respected selective Voluntary Controlled Girls’ Grammar School that places students’ academic success on a par with their wellbeing, creating a unique learning community where every individual matters. Students attending the school are aged between 11-18 years and the school has a student roll of about 1,300 students (with approx. 400 pupils in our mixed Sixth Form).
