Advert

We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic KS1/2 teacher to join our friendly, successful schools. We are currently in the consultation period to formalise/agree a federation between the Infant and Junior schools (located on the same site) in order to work together to continue to raise standards, promote inclusion and find new ways of approaching teaching and learning. As a federation we will be able to build further capacity to deliver an enriched curriculum and learning experience for our children. This is therefore, an exciting time to join us and an ideal opportunity for professional development!

The post is initially for one year as a maternity cover but due to our expected federation may lead to further opportunities to join the school on a permanent contract.

We would like a creative teacher who will inspire our young people to discover the awe and wonder of learning. You must be a team player and committed to raising pupil achievement within a caring, nurturing environment. All curriculum strengths are welcome but interest in maths, science or RE would be an advantage. We will support and encourage you to develop and use your expertise to help the schools continue to flourish and improve.

Our Infant school has been rated by Ofsted as Outstanding (March 2016) and our Junior school is rated as Good.

Both schools are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Any offer of appointment will be subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS checking process.

Please come and visit our school if you think you are the person to join our wonderful team. We look forward to meeting you!

For an application pack please email or phone the school. Alternatively download a teaching application form from the school information page.

Information about the school

About us and our federation:

We are a small federation, consisting of our Infant and Junior school.

We created our federation 7 years ago in order to ensure consistently strong practice across the primary phase. While still 2 separate schools with their own identities, we have a shared governing body and the leadership team works very closely together, sharing its vision and values in order to Nurture, Inspire and Achieve.

The children are at the heart of all decision making and we are passionate about sharing our strong practice with the community and other schools.

Visits to the school are highly encouraged – we would love you to see what makes us unique.
