We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team of support staff from September 2017 in a full time, term time position. This position is for 25 hours a week, working from 9 – 3.15.

The successful candidate will have:

- Relevant Early Years Teaching Assistant Qualification is desirable but not essential, candidates must demonstrate a strong interest in working in a school setting and in Early Years, GCSE Maths and English at C or above are essential

- A proven ability to work effectively and enthusiastically both independently and as part of a team.

- The experience and ability to engage successfully with Early Years children, extending them in purposeful activities and embracing their learning

-Excellent communication skills

- The ability to enforce school rules with patience and understanding

- The ability to promote the distinctive Christian values of the school

- A passion for learning and the motivation to improve – training will be given to the successful candidate.
