LEAD TEACHER SPORT VACANCY

We are looking for a Lead Teacher in Sport to join Turner Schools. This is an exciting new post for a teacher with competitive sporting experience of their own, and experience in coaching young children in hockey and cricket, which we hope to excel in. An interest in tennis, netball, rounders, basketball and football are also an advantage.

The purpose of the Lead Teacher Sport is to develop inclusive excellence as well as fitness and camaraderie team sport fosters. The role brings the opportunity to work across two schools with direct teaching and coaching, as well as team teaching and coaching of colleagues.

Both Morehall and Martello Primaries have premises to enable great sporting potential, with a large field in the former and an Astro, MUGA and field at the latter. The role would be full time, but 0.8/four days a week term time would also be considered for the right candidate.
