HEAD OF SCIENCE

We are seeking a talented and inspirational individual to appoint as Head of Science and lead an enthusiastic and cohesive team of subject specialists.

WGSG is an expanding 11-18 Girls’ Grammar School with a co-educational sixth form.  Science is a popular subject and we seek a special person with a proven track record of outstanding teaching up to Advanced Level.

Students study separate sciences from Year 7, Double or Triple Science on a three year KS4 programme, with all three sciences popular at KS5.

This is an outstanding selective school where students are highly motivated. As joint lead of North West Kent Teaching School Alliance, the development of outstanding teachers is considered a priority.  The successful candidate will lead an enthusiastic and supportive department who are committed to excellence.
