We require a Business Manager from September 2017, to be paid on Kent Range 8/9 (£24473 to £32078) dependant on experience, for 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year.

Due to the retirement of our Business Manager we seek to appoint a person:

  • To provide professional leadership for the administration and estate affairs of the school.
  • To ensure provision of high quality customer and school service.
  • To enhance the effectiveness of the school support function to achieve improved standards of learning and achievement in the school and within the teaching school alliance.
  • To promote high standards of business ethos within the administrative function to ensure the most effective use of resources in support of the school's learning objectives.
  • To provide financial planning and monitoring of a budget of approximately £1.5m.
  • To hold stakeholders accountable to school policies particularly those surrounding safeguarding.

We are looking for a person who has a proven track record of:

  • High quality skills in the areas listed above
  • Self motivation and enthusiasm
  • Making a difference and being fully involved and committed to the life of the school, working as part of a forward thinking, positive team of professionals.
  • Exceptional organisation skills with good attention to detail.
  • Ability to negotiate best values and outcomes for the school.
  • Understanding how to build and support an effective team.
  • Identifying and developingstrengths in others.
  • Securing the highest quality provision of services.
