Welcome to Brabourne, a successful, happy, rural school where enthusiastic pupils make good progress throughout their time with us. With a new Headteacher in place since January, our vision is to inspire all of our pupils within a broad and balanced curriculum, making children excited about coming to school.

We are a caring and nurturing Church of England school, where the whole community feels like one big family and colleagues offer a strong network of support for each other. With specialist music, language and PE teachers, our class teachers are well supported in delivering a varied curriculum and can also take advantage of our idyllic location with inspirational outdoor learning opportunities.

We are looking for a full-time KS2 teacher for our Year 5/6 class from September 2017. Our ideal candidate would be passionate about learning, creative in their approach and encourage our children to become successful, self-motivated, happy and confident learners through engaging lessons.

As well as being an excellent and enthusiastic teacher, we would also ideally look for someone able to take on responsibility for a subject such as RE, Literacy or Maths.

Information about the school

Our small village school is located between Ashford and Folkestone with stunning views of the Kent Downs. We have a total number of pupils of 105 children divided into four classes. We have high standards; dedicated staff; supportive parent community and most important of all, children who love coming to school.
