Advert

Forest School Leader

We are looking for someone to lead our already established Forest School.  We have the facilities and grounds, including a fire pit, and are looking for someone to manage and run the facilities and organise weekly Forest School lessons for children across the primary school.

Experience of working in a Forest School is essential and a level 3 qualification in Forest School is required.

The post would be for one afternoon a week initially, with time for preparation and setting down included, paid for on Kent Range 6.  Ideally to start in June, or alternatively from September.

We also have permission to use the nearby minnis, which is an area of woodland we can walk to for our Forest School sessions.

If the concept of Forest School excites you, then this could be the job for you.

Information about the school

We are a small rural primary school, set between the villages of Bossingham and Stelling Minnis, six miles south of Canterbury and 12 miles from Folkestone. Our history dates back to 1784 and we are one of the oldest schools in Kent. We are a Good school (Ofsted) and were judged Outstanding as a Church School (Diocesan Inspection). We have a strong Christian ethos throughout the school, a supportive and active Friends Association, and a strong team of hard working and dedicated teachers, support staff and governors. We have delightful, enthusiastic children who are eager to learn. You are invited to become part of our team.
