The Governors are seeking to appoint an inspiring and highly motivated practising Catholic to play an integral part in the development of our school.  The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Teacher and Governors to share the leadership of our popular, happy and welcoming school.

This post will involve some class teaching, a leader of learning and teaching, responsibility for pupil premium, behaviour and attendance and the development of RE in the school.

• Be an outstanding classroom practitioner and exceptional role model; passionate in developing high standards and expectations for all pupils;

• Be able to lead and make impact in key strategic areas.

Information about the school

St Ethelbert’s Catholic Primary School is a one form entry school set in the heart of the Georgian town of Ramsgate, Kent, just a short walk from the beaches overlooking the English Channel. The school had its last Ofsted Inspection in June 2019 and is rated Good. It had a denominational inspection in May 2023 and is rated Outstanding. Our staff and governors are hard-working, caring, supportive and friendly and the children are very well behaved. With our church being on the school site we are building strong links with our local community. Our school motto is ‘High Expectations for all, in the Light of Christ’.
