Temporary Fixed Term Catering Assistants (x 4)

Required as soon as possible until the end of the Academic Year (21/07/2017)

20 hours per week, Term Time only (38 weeks per annum)

Salary: Academy Range 2 which equates to £6,061.75/£6,448.77 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Folkestone All Age Academy for 4 Catering Assistants to join our Catering Department on a fixed term basis until the end of the Academic Year (21/07/2017). 

The successful candidate will be required to assist in providing efficient and effective service while maintaining excellent customer service within the Catering Department.

The following qualities are required:

-        A high level of motivation and willingness to succeed

-        Excellent time management and ability to work well under pressure

-        Experience within catering

-        Proven experience of working successfully as part of a team

-        A committed attitude and genuine interest in catering and hospitality

-        Knowledge of HACCP

-        To undertake and achieve industry recognised Food Hygiene qualification if not already held

Applicants should ideally have experience of working in a busy kitchen environment, preferably gained within the education sector or similar large-scale, high volume catering operation.
