Appointment of Teacher of Art & Design (Part-time 0.4) MPS/UPS

Borden Grammar School is committed to providing students in Swale with every advantage that being a selective school can offer.

The Art department is successful in many ways. Examination performance in Art at GCSE is strong and consistently high. Art is an established choice for students undertaking their options in Year 9. A number of students continue to study either Art or Photography at Advanced level. Extra-curricular visits and day trip projects are common place across all three Key Stages, with trips to galleries as well as overseas visits in partnership with other departments. The successful applicant would be expected to contribute willingly to this ethos.

This is a post for a suitably qualified teacher, who is committed to achieving high standards in all areas of school life.

Shortlisting will take place within three working days; successful candidates will then be invited in for formal interview. Borden is a vibrant and purposeful grammar school for boys. The school is part of a thriving post-16 partnership and has female students in the Sixth Form.
