KS2 Class Teacher (full time and permanaent) required for September 2017- Year group dependent on applicant's strengths

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled teacher who has high aspirations of what children can achieve to join our friendly team.  The successful applicant will join the Key Stage 2 team in a year group to match their skills and experience.  We're looking for a teacher who has a track record of high standards.  The applicant will have to be an enthusiastic and imaginative teacher.  Do you have the skills and desire to make a difference to our children?

Information about the school

Oaklands School is a Good school with results which are at or above national averages. We are a two form entry primary school situated in Walderslade. We also have a Children and Family Hub and Wellbeing Centre on site and so support our community from antenatal all the way to Year 6.

The school is set in extensive grounds and is well resourced, including our own swimming pool offering swimming from Year R through to Year 6, a Forest School, our very own Farm, training kitchen, Art & Design Room, Radio Station, Running Track other superb opportunities for outside learning.

We offer wrap around care including breakfast and after school facilities to support working families. At Oaklands there is a very strong sense of being a team with dedicated staff whose aim is to offer our children a first class education.
