We are seeking to appoint a teacher to teach Design Technology. The applicant will be required to teach resistant materials, Graphics, Electronics, CAD/CAM at key stage 3 and product design at key stage 4/5. Applicants must have high expectations of achievement and behaviour, strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, parents and students. Newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply. They must also be sympathetic to the Catholic ethos and Mission of the School.

Information about the school

Located on the southern fringes of the historic city of Canterbury, St Anselm's is a happy and successful wide ability school, catering for those who wish to receive a Catholic education. The school has a large catchment area extending from Ashford to Herne Bay and from Wingham to Faversham. It is regularly over-subscribed. The Sixth Form, numbering 150 students, offers a wide range of Advanced level and vocational courses. In September 2004 the school became a specialist school for Science, though retaining its Catholic ethos.
