Salary: Main / Upper Pay Scale

We are looking to appoint an outstanding classroom teacher who can inspire and excite students about their learning. The Academy is well on its journey of a commitment to the highest of expectations and achievement for all, with an increase of over 10% in the number of students achieving 5A* - C in August 2016. The Mathematics Department also achieved one of their best results to date with an increase of 12% in the number of students achieving A* - C at GCSE and 100% of students achieving A* - C at A-level.

You will be joining a well-resourced department that has a relentless focus on raising achievement and thriving A-level numbers. The post offers outstanding opportunities for continuous personal and professional development for a highly motivated and ambitious teacher looking for career advancement. This is an exciting opportunity for an NQT or experienced teacher. The person appointed would be supported by the Director of Mathematics, Key Stage co-ordinators and a fantastic team of Lead Practitioners.

As well as our state of the art facilities, we have an exciting programme of trips, visits, visitors and extra-curricular activities. The successful candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • The ability to teach Mathematics up to KS4 and the potential for development of KS5 teaching
  • Possess recent, relevant teaching experience
