We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Head of PE.

The successful candidate will manage a small team and teach PE to a high standard across the school to GCSE level. So, if you love PE, have a presence and passion for teaching academically able students, then please consider this position in a unique and Specialist setting.

Information about the school

All 80 students on roll have an EHC plan with SEMH or ASD as their main SEN need. Most have additional associated diagnosed and undiagnosed needs. All have a broadly average cognitive profile with behaviour presenting as the biggest barrier to accessing education.

It is essential that have a good understanding of Special Educational Needs associated with student who present with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs and or Autism and experience of working successfully with other agencies to help these children achieve positive outcomes. A high proportion of our children are eligible for pupil premium.
