We seek to recruit an Administration Assistant to provide administrative and organisational support to the Attendance Officer and to assist in provididng reprographics support to the Academy.  Working as a part of the Academy Administration team you will also support with Student Reception.

The position is term time only  - 37 hours per week.

Core responsibilities will involve:

  1. To provide administrative and organisational support to the Attendance Officer, ensuring that attendance records are maintained accurately.
  2. Liaise with parents / carers, staff in the Academy and external agencies as appropriate.
  3. Undertake word-processing and IT based tasks including operation of relevant equipment and advanced ICT packages.
  4. To be part of the Academy Administration team and support as necessary
  5. Cover Student Reception at specific times as directed
  6. Carry out additional duties that may arise from time to time in accordance with the nature of the role and the level of responsibility

Applicants will ideally have previous experience of working in an administration role in education. You would ideally have a working knowledge of Sims, excellent communication skills and have the ability to plan, prioritise and manage your workload in an environment of conflicting demands.
