We are looking to appoint a Midday supervisor

If you enjoy working with children and would like to work in a friendly, outstanding junior school then this could be the role for you.

We would expcect the successful candidate to have a firm but fair approach whilst being patient and understanding.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work effectively and enthusiatically as part of a team and be able to engage  with the children, extending them in purposeful activities and enhancing their social skills whilst having fun.  You will need excellent communication skills and have the ability to create a positive, inclusive environment.

The main responsibilities of the role are to supervise outdoor play (or in bad weather, the classrooms and help in the school hall, setting up, during the lunch hour and clearing away, the lifting of tables and benches will be required.

The post is from 11.50 - 13.20 (7.5 hrs) term time only.

Herne C.E. (Aided) Junior School is a well-respected and oversubscribed school in the village of Herne.
