Loose Primary School is looking to appoint an outstanding Assistant Headteacher at what is a very exciting time for our school. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional, innovative and energetic leader, who has excellent knowledge and understanding of outstanding teaching and learning across all the primary phases and someone who is ready for Senior Leadership responsibilities. We are seeking to appoint an excellent practitioner and inspirational leader with ambition who wants to develop their leadership skills further in a highly supportive team, aiming to ensure that all our young people learn, contribute and thoroughly enjoy school life.

Specific responsibilities will be tailored to meet your particular strengths.

As a strategically important member of the Senior Leadership Team we are looking for the following qualities and skills:

  • has excellent and extensive primary practice, who has a proven track record of raising standards
  • has excellent organisational skills with the ability to support and motivate colleagues

  • has initiative, energy, creativity and a sense of humour
  • is approachable with excellent communication skills
  • Is able to work to a deadline and meet targets
