Lynsted & Norton School (part of The Village Academy) are looking for an experienced Early Years practitioner to teach our Reception Class and lead Early Years in our school.

The successful candidate will be Early Years trained and able to demonstrate teaching which is consistently good or above.   As EYFS Lead you will need to be able to communicate well with parents, and have a sound understanding of Early Years assessment and data analysis.

This position is a permanent appointment, with salary on the Main Pay Scale and dependant on experience.  Start date is April 2017, but could be September 2017 for the right candidate.  

We are a small village primary school in a lovely rural setting, enjoying close links with our local community.   Our staff and governing body are friendly, welcoming and supportive of each other.    We also benefit from being part of an Academy of seven other primary schools in Kent, sharing expertise and good practice, including the support of an Academy Early Years Co-ordinator.

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player with a sense of humour, who is committed to raising standards of achievement and has high expectations of pupils.     

We offer small classes (our PAN is 20 ) and a designated Early Years classroom, complete with purpose built outdoor area, both of which are newly refurbished. We also share an excellent relationship with the outstanding preschool on site.
