HEAD OF ENGLISH

TLR 1 (£7,622 – £12,898)

Required for September 2017

We are looking to appoint a passionate senior teacher who is seeking greater responsibility or an existing innovative Head of English who feels they would thrive in a new environment. As the Head of English you will be able to lead a team of ambitious individuals, providing clear direction to success and promoting best practice, ensuring clear goals are set from the outset. You will have a proven track record in raising standards in English as well as leading a team. A passion for your subject and a determination to continue to raise standards of teaching, learning and examination performance in English is essential.

In 2014 our school was rated as ‘good’ in all areas by Ofsted, who praised our teachers’ good subject knowledge and enthusiasm as well as strong leadership and a commitment to improving children’s lives.

These are exciting times for Aylesford School where results are rising and where we are developing a world class learning environment that our young people tell us they are proud to be a part of.

Join us on our journey to be the best for “Every child, every lesson, every day”.
