St. Mary's CEP Academy has moved a long way from our last inspection and is now well on its way to becoming Outstanding. We are looking for someone with the ability to inspire our children and staff to excellence, build immersive learning opportunities and join our team of highly skilled and dedicated staff on the journey to Outstanding.

The Academy has a vacancy for a part time SENCO on a fixed term contract to cover staff absence for approximately 6 months. The position would suit a newly qualified SENCO who is keen to develop SEN systems in an innovative primary school.  You must have:-

- a keen eye for detail

- excellent literacy skills

- knowledge of new SEN Code of Practice

- strong understanding of differing SEN areas, particular ASD and speech & language

Ideally, we would like the successful person to start in June 2017 but we would consider a start in September 2017.
