We are looking for a highly organised and dedicated individual to join our team. A working knowledge of the best practice and the ability to inspire and support both children and adults will be a key requirement. An active willingness to contribute to whole school improvement is vital.The post will involve working in Key Stage 2 covering whole classes, facilitating PPA, providing booster support to individual/groups of children, as well as covering for other occasions e.g. courses.

 

The successful candidate will also be responsible for coordinating lunchtime activities and supervision. So an ability to play, have fun, lead, enthuse and inspire others is essential.

Candidates must have a HLTA qualification or equivalent, experience of working with children from Year 3 to Year 6 and experience of taking a whole class.

You will need to provide evidence of accelerated pupil progress and outstanding practice in the primary classroom. Shortlisted candidates may be observed working with children as part of the selection process.

 

HOURS OF WORK - 30 - 35 Hours per week (Monday - Friday).

St Peter's Church of England Primary school is a small, family school with around 105 pupils. We are located in the East End of Folkestone overlooking the harbour and on the same site as St Peter's Church. Our Christian ethos is based on the Gospel Values. We provide a warm, friendly, supportive atmosphere where we all work together to ensure every child flourishes and achieves their full potential.
