We are looking for a special person to deliver interventions and support our children to achieve their potential. The current role will include delivering individualised programmes and pre and post teaching activities in a 1:1 or small group capacity.

You will have:

  • Experience of working in a primary aged children in a school setting.
  • Recent experience of working with children who have additional educational needs.
  • A good level of literacy and numeracy skills
  • An understanding of the new National Curriculum and be able to adapt it to the needs of the individual.
  • Experience of ASD  advantageous but not essential as training can be provided.
  • Excellent written and spoken skills and good general communication skills to liaise with other staff members, parents and outside agencies.
  • Ability to use ICT (word, excel, internet etc). 
  • Skills to initiate and support play.
