OUR SCHOOL  Barton Court Grammar School is a state, selective , co-educational school with Academy Trust Status. The School has a strong reputation for its high academic standards and its caring and supportive ethos. The School is an accredited 'Thinking School'.

THE POST The Governors wish to appoint a well-organised and supportive Clerk to the Governing Body for an immediate start.

HOW TO APPLY Applicants should have excellent administrative skills with a recognised secretarial qualification and a good general level of education with a minimum GCSE Grade C or equivalent in Mathematics and English. The ability to work flexibly is essential as there is a requirement to work both during the day and some evenings. Confidentiality and discretion are paramount, with a need to be highly motivated, proactive and able to show initiative along with good research skills and experience of complex minute taking.

The successful applicant must be computer literate and confident in their use of email and Microsoft Office, including Word and must have access to their own computer and internet.

Training and a handover period are available and professional training programme may be offered to the right candidate.
