We would like to welcome you to Greenacre Academy, a single sex secondary boys’ school with a large joint sixth form in partnership with the neighbouring girls’ school. Following many years of success, Greenacre is a lead Academy in a multi academy trust, offering many more opportunities across our trust.

Our Academy genuinely values our teachers and can offer:

  • Bespoke professional development

Our students have demonstrated consistently strong improvements over a sustained period of time and we are always keen to innovate to deliver the very best education for our pupils.

Our recent OFSTED in March 2014 resulted in a GOOD rating and commented that, “Leadership of the academy is strong. The Headteacher, together with senior leaders, governors and staff, is ambitious for students’ success and has worked hard to raise standards by improving the quality of teaching. As a result, achievement is improving rapidly and students are well prepared for the next stage of their lives.”

We are looking for a talented, energetic and well-qualified Head of MFL for this oversubscribed academy. If you would like to be part of the next exciting stage in our development, are committed to raising standards, have high expectations, a proven track record in teaching languages and are keen to make a difference, we want to hear from you. An ideal candidate will be able to offer at least French and Spanish (we also teach German), be able to lead a small but growing department and have the skills and abilities to engage learners and a developmental vision that will help contribute to the rising profile of MFL.
