Contract:  
12-months’ fixed term, term-time only
Salary:  Kent Range 3 (£15102-£16799), pro-rata to £12743-£14175
Hours:  37 hours a week, 8-4pm Monday-Friday, 39 weeks per annum

We are seeking a talented, organised, professional Receptionist to fulfil the above maternity leave role and act as the first point of contact within the college, responding to enquiries and supporting the administration dept.

The successful candidate will:

  • be educated to GCSE level/equivalent, with English & maths grade C or above
  • be an effective communicator with excellent customer service skills and a professional telephone manner
  • possess exceptional IT skills including up-to-date knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Publisher and Outlook
  • be calm, able to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • have a smart, professional appearance and dress
  • be an adaptable, pro-active, self-starter with the ability to manage a large variety of situations
  • be highly organised and methodical
  • have knowledge of Child Protection/Safeguarding policies
