Our latest OFSTED report says we are "A good School" and we are on our journey to Outstanding. We are looking for a Lab Technician to join and support our Science department from September to cover a member of staff on maternity leave.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, passionate and excited about Science. You will be joining a supportive and developmental environment where staff are encouraged to learn from each other and develop their practice.

We moved into our new state of the art building 4 years ago with the latest labs and innovative plaza spaces where we work collaboratively. We also have an exciting programme of trips, visits, and extra-curricular activities, meaning the Academy is a vibrant and interesting place to work.

We are very excited about the future of Science in our Academy and are currently offering double and triple award science at GCSE and all three sciences at A level. The ideal candidate would have experience working in a school laboratory environment or have science technician experience within industry, however this is not required and we would welcome applications from those with an interest and understanding of science as training could be provided within the department.

Only applications submitted by the school application process will be considered, we are unable to accept CV's.

All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure. Future Schools Trust is an equal opportunities employer and is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people. All members of staff are expected to share and adhere to this commitment.
