1 Year Temporary Contract

This post is a full time position in for a Key Stage 2 class.

NQT's are welcome to apply.

Job Specification:

The successful applicant will teach all subjects.

They will be responsible for planning and teaching and marking to a high standard.

They will work within a mainly subject centred curriculum, whilst exploiting cross-curricular links.

Personal Specification:

The successful candidates will have the following qualities: deliver lessons at the Good/Outstanding level.

A thorough subject knowledge and competence in teaching English and Maths to the target year groups.

To be able to teach most subjects in the primary curriculum, including ICT, to a high standard (please state specialisms).

Be committed to high levels of achievement and progress for all abilities of pupils.

Be flexible in fitting in with the school’s requirements.

Be able to work on their own, whilst cooperating with the whole staff.

Be prepared to help with activities within the school generally, including extra-curricular activity.

Information about the school

Hollingbourne is a small, delightful, friendly, village school nestled in the North Downs. It boasts 100 lovely children aged 4 to 11 years.

We have a committed and enthusiastic staff who are determined to enable every child to reach their potential, providing them with a stable, caring environment in which they and are stimulated and keen to learn.
