Are you looking to teach in a large, forward thinking Primary School? 

Then we could be the school for you! West Borough Primary School is looking to appoint a qualified teacher from September 2017 to join our OUTSTANDING Early Years Foundation Stage team, to support our growing school. We shall be taking in an additional class in September 2017, taking our PAN to 90. This position would ideally suit a teacher early in their career, looking for a new challenge. NQTs are welcome to apply.

At West Borough we have high expectations of learning and behaviour. The successful candidate will enable pupils with different learning needs and of varying abilities (including EAL) to maximise their learning through provision of motivating activities and a positive, creative learning environment.

Information about the school

We are very proud of our wonderful school which was judged as good with outstanding features. Our most recent Ofsted inspection was in October 2022.

We have 16 classes including our maintained Nursery. A set of Core Values underpin all that we do which ensure high expectations of both learning and behaviour. They are 'Equality, Responsibility, Respect, Resilience and Challenge.' Our inclusive school is based on a large, well resourced site just outside Maidstone town centre. Our excellent facilities include a library, extensive outdoor learning areas and an ASD Satellite.

Our school has a happy and caring ethos and is is full of well motivated children, supported by a hardworking and fully committed team of staff and governors.
