Vacancy- Maths Specialist, Collaboration Lead

 

Start Date- Sept 2017

Salary- L5- L9

 

A unique opportunity to work with the prestigious Goldsmiths’ Company and three schools (King’s Farm, Whitehill and Lawn) in Gravesham, in a collaboration that will improve pupil outcomes in Maths.

 

We have secured a grant from The Goldsmiths’ Company for a four year collaboration and seek an inspirational practitioner to:

 

  • Develop and empower a Collaboration team to implement and embed Mastery Maths across all schools within the Collaboration
  • Devise and embed a single assessment system across the Collaboration
  • Improve maths teaching and learning outcomes across all schools within the Collaboration to Good or better
  • Ensure progress in maths in KS2 is above National expectations in all schools within the Collaboration

 

  • Design and implement a Community project devised to improve maths at home, targeting Pupil Premium families
  • Inspire and influence pupils and families, harnessing the findings of well evidenced research to improve pupil outcomes

 

Designed to inspire and achieve, the collaboration aims to inspire both its own pupils and the wider education community both regionally and nationally. Its goal is to master Maths for a brighter future and transform lives.

 

Reporting to The Goldsmiths’ Company and the School Governors, the candidate requires the ability to provide clear educational vision and direction, collect, analyse and use data to raise standards and be an exemplary practitioner of Mastery Maths.

 

The candidate will have a real commitment to delivering pupils’ entitlement to rich educational experience.

King's Farm Primary School is a slightly larger than average primary school. We are a two-form entry school with our own Nursery, an inclusive ethos and a rising roll.
