Hours: Up to 35 hrs per week , Term-Time + 5 inset days

Contract Type: Fixed Term until end August 2017 initially

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience working with infant children
  • Ability to apply behaviour management policies and strategies
  • Experience and familiarity with effective safeguarding procedures
  • Ability to relate well to children and adults.
  • Calm and patient.
  • Ability to work within a team.
  • Enthusiastic and flexible.
  • Ability to smile when things don’t quite according to plan

Information about the school

Joydens Wood Infant School is a popular 3 form entry infant school with 242 happy and inquisitive children. We are located in northwest Kent, just inside the M25. We are very close to the motorway networks and a few minutes drive from Bluewater Shopping Centre. Our leafy site is in a quiet residential area, but close to semi-rural green belt spaces. We share our large site with Joydens Wood Junior School, an academy like ourselves which is part of the NEXUS Educational Schools Trust.
