Administrative Assistant

22 hours per week (to include Fridays), term time plus 5 days in the holdays

Are you an organsied administrator with excellent office skills?

We are looking for a committed individual who will be responsible for administrative services within our Sixth Form Centre. You will manage events and administer Connexions talk/interviews. You will play a key role in administration of Year 10 options/interviews. You will need to have outstanding communication skills alongside maintaining accurate records. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential along with an understanding of the need to be confidential. This would suit someone who enjoys being busy, has plenty of initiative with high energy to match that of the already established team.

Information about the school

Homewood School and Sixth Form Centre is a mixed 11 – 18 wide ability school with Academy status with 2000 students including 350 in the Sixth Form. We are part of Tenterden Schools’ Trust working in collaboration with local primary schools and nurseries serving the Wealden town of Tenterden and the surrounding villages. The school is situated on the edge of Tenterden and enjoys a large semi-rural site overlooking open countryside. Home Farm Nursery is based in the grounds of Homewood School.

Homewood has excellent facilities for all its students and our specialisms in Performing Arts, Applied Learning and the Rural Dimension underpin our approaches to learning which are designed to raise achievement across the whole student body.
