Teaching Assistant required! Our fantastic team is looking to welcome a new member of staff to our school.

Are you: -passionate about children's learning? -committed to all children and adults feeling valued? -looking for a good supply of fresh fruit and chocolate biscuits to munch through the day? -seeking a large building to walk off the extra calories? If so, The Brent could be the school for you!

We are looking to recruit a dedicated, and highly motivated, person to join our popular, over-subscribed primary school which is growing from 2FE to 3FE. A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification, GCSE Maths and English grade C or above, and IT literate, are all essential. A First Aid qualification would be advantageous. The hours are 8.40am - 3:30pm, including lunchtime cover, Monday - Friday, Term-Time only.

We would be particularly interested in a candiadate with an interest or experience in Early Years.

We have a very strong team; with good capacity for support. Consequently, this post would suit an experienced Teaching Assistant, or it could be suitable for a strong candidate who is able to submit evidence of appropriate skills working with children.

The successful candidate must be committed to high standards of learning and behaviour. We provide quality support and appropriate professional development.

A caring approach and a good sense of humour are essential. We are seeking to appoint a 'Brent' person: someone who is committed to ensuring each child meets their potential and that learning for all is relevant, interesting and exciting.

Visits to the school are definitely encouraged. Please email: headteacher@brent.kent.sch.uk for further information, or to arrange a visit.
